Some of the items on our list include painting the entire building, upgrading electrical, fire alarm systems, dehumidification on the stage and in the basement, repairing a concrete basement, and replacing rotten beams, clapboard, soffits, and skirting. More clean out in the basement of the Plainfield Village Town Hall today. We planned to throw out this piano shipping box infested with powder post beetles ….that is until we found out who it was shipped to. Pest control will be called. The Everett piano currently in the town hall came from the Plainfield Historical Society Mothers’ and Daughters’ Clubhouse and must have been a gift from Mrs. Parrish.
Our thanks to the Plainfield Town Hall Committee and Campos for their work today.
